If your design is to be printed all the way to the edge of the sheet, the design needs to "bleed" off the edge. As in, you need to make your artwork slightly larger than the sheet size for a full bleed. The sheet is usually cut AFTER printing, especially for full bleeds. If your artwork is the exact same size as the finished sheet, when cutting them down there may be a sliver of white material showing on the sides, especially if they have a large stack of sheets to cut. It sounds confusing when writing it down, but if you saw it in action it makes sense. I work at a print shop, btw.

cool thanks for the info, so I just need to make sure my piece goes past the border on the template a bit and I'll be fine ?

my work is usually mammoth, so I can easily shrink it to fit the calender.

yup.. just download that jpg template... and shrink your work to fit that... whatever is outside of the dashed border will be cut off

can't wait to see what you come up with
