Last tuesday I felt something funny on my elbow. So thursday I went into the emergency room for a swollen elbow caused by a spider bite... they put me on antibiotics and sent me home... those didn't work.. kept swelling, excruciating pain followed. went to the E.R. at 2:30 am on saturday. started me on IV antibiotics.. sent me home with IV still in me. Went back on Sunday for more antibiotics.. ok, cool.. went home.. excruciating paint only became stronger.. went in and then i was later admitted to the hospital where a couple days later, they took me into surgery to remove an abscess in my elbow which was brought on by the bite, but transformed into a staph infection. so i've spent the last 4 days in a hospital with a swollen arm and armpit.. on pain meds and I.V. antibiotics. just got home... got a huge ass splint on my arm and staples across the incision stretching from the top of my elbow to the bottom of my elbow. left arm that is.

Can we call you SpiderFitz or Spiderman now:)

I think I'd make use of all the damn money all those meds are costing, and start drawing with your good arm - have to be getting some creative ideas I'd think.

aight.. over the past week i've been on morphine, percocet, hydrocodone/vicodin, oxycodone, anasthesia (mmmmmm), and a host of intravenous antibiotics. Now, proud to say I'm topping it all off with my best friend mary. I can feel the wound pulse in my splint and the staples feel funny.

the spider bite only got bad because it was right smack dab on my elbow, and it got into my Bursa Sack which caused the royal empire of pain and anguish to fall upon me.

you can call me whatev.. but when this is all over, i'm going to have some kind of bionical arm.. Might even release a new batch of "Left-Handed Comics"

ok, time for more pain meds... blizow!!!
