It's time for a new look for AI. I'm fairly certain that a new template will be created for AI, so I'm looking for some header graphics. If I like it, I'll put it up on the site. You could also include a mockup for the menu too.

I'm still debating weather I want to completely overhaul the phpBB software to the newest version, which is completely different and I would also need to re-install a photo album and stuff. Or just simply give AI a new look with the current system in place.

Things to keep in mind:
- Text should include words: Abstract Influence .com design photo art community
- make it at least 808 pixels wide (height doesn't really matter but nothing too crazy)
- AI's colors have tradionally been: #A42827 (red) #5C5857 (dark grey) #D2D2D4 (light grey). Feel free to use whatever but be open for color changes
- Save the .psd in case something needs to be changed (ie width, colors, text)

Both eos and indyfitz expressed interest in this but I'm opening it up for anyone to give it a try. Lets see what you can come up with!

doin the bulldance.... feelin the flow. workin it... workin it.

if you update to a new system, would you lose all of the current albums and images? or could those be transferred over? i think all that would be needed is just some grafix updates. jyeah

I think I would be able to convert the images over as well. Last night I was able to convert all the posts and members and stuff from the forum. I would have to test the album images too before I did it.

If you are planning on making a header, try 808 pixels for the width.

The template I'm looking at is using that for the header width.

do you think there is a way to get all of the buttons on one image so that we can see the icons we have to recreate? word up!

Say what? I don't know what you mean by buttons and icons.

At this point, all I'm really looking for is a header graphic.

While you certainly can re-create buttons, the template I have picked out already has those created. I will try to name all though; Profile, P. Msg, Email, MSN, Yahoo, AOL, ICQ, Gallery, Blog, Web, Quote, Edit, New Topic, Post Reply, New Thread.

If you would like, I can give you a preview of the template I'm looking to use...

It could go as far as you want it to but at the minimum, need just the header graphic.

Here is a preview of the proposed template. It's a fairly clean design but I may have to add more color to the forum index, it's a lot of light colors right now. Let me know your thoughts. It's going to be a fixed width design (instead of the currently fluid). But you will be able to change the template back to this current one if you want to keep on using it.
