I´m so angry, I bought some pieces and made a new computer. But it doesn´t start. It worked well like for a day and then it sucked. I have an athlon amd 3700 processor and a msi k8n neo platinum motherboard with windows xp. I thought it overheated so I bought a new fan. When I got home I turned it on and it doesn´t start, it stays at the point where the motherboard type appears and it stops right there. Any suggestions why this is happening?

I would check all the connections from the power supply to the motherboard, possibly the power supply is not connected properly.

If it atleast boots, I would just re-install XP and see if that works. Because if it doesnt, than you know it's for sure a hardware problem somewhere.

Not so good in the end, my house is a mess. But the good thing is that it is working now. Where the computer used to be it doesn´t work, something about the electricity plugs just don´t work, whereever I tried to plug it, in the end it never started. So I took it downstairs to my old room and plugged it there, and that seemed to do, it works now :D .
Oh :x , I was so angry, and I wouldn´t have been able to return the parts because I bought them in the U.S. and I live very far, no warranty.
