~ Prior to the engagement of battle starting in Introduce Yourself ~

We decided game on, so now rules of engagement?

Notice in subject your name is lower caps and mine are CAPS to symbolize my greaterness:) Ha - J/K Mike.

Umm...you have any ideas, size, etc. I'm not sure if there are any true "themes" but I had a vision of "prison" or ones perception of what their own prison may be. 200 res. min.? size 800x600 too big? smaller, maybe a third party has suggestions.

We're both dads, and I only have access to equipment at my own job, plus some free-lance work to catch up on - so what time frame between volley sounds good to you Mike. 1 week enough? or 2? I say 1 minimum for sure. Will await for further info, then I'm content starting since I started this war.

Alright tmabba, the game has begun. I didn't think you'd be done for another week. I like the cut-and-paste collage style, think I might continue that. I'll start working.

p.s. digging the fangs

well I myself not even sure I dig the design itself - I did hurry a bit - due to my hard drive fried and I was busy playing catchup - only have access to computer at work....anyways this first one was more inside joke I knew only Serckus would get. Yeah Serckus could have taken another week but got other obligations next week and wanted you to at least have something to work with. Also - was actually trying to stay more simple with less effects etc. - trying to tell a story pertaining with my perception of imprisonment - "being locked in cages, things in life that "contain" us in certain ways", addictions, etc."

Will try to be more attentative and creative volley 3.

So you're hard drive is fried too? My external hard drive crashed on me yesterday. It has all my pictures, artwork, music and more on it. It has all my family pictures going back to when my oldest was just a few months old. I'm going to try a few software programs to try and recover the data, but I may well be FUBAR. It may take me a little longer to get my volley up now. How did you get your data back from your hard drive? I've only had the external hard drive for about three months. I was in the process of putting all my data on it and then I was going to back it all up on DVDs.

a couple years ago my hard drive fried on my lap top when I was free-lancing. I previously burned some CD's but didn't for about 6 months - bad mistake, lost lot of clients files. I got it at Best Buy and they gave me a couple options - forgot what costs they said? Then at work my Mac went down last week - which I currently use for everything. It was just my Ram Card. Boss sent it to Mac Doctors and it was on his tab. Hooked up old hard drive and transferred to new hard drive.

Dang - bad luck for us. Take all time you want. Wherever you bought your computer I guess I'd call and get some options. That stuff is priceless most of times so may have to bite the bullet. Will teach us to burn more often aye?

Ah, hard drives are super cheap nowadays. Golden rule is save and backup often. Of course, if you are really worried about your files, you should set up a RAID with multiple hard drives. That way if one or two fail, you have protection and no lost files.

I was just in the process of setting up a backup system, too. I've only had my external hard drive for a few months and was still loading it with everything I wanted to back up. I just needed to burn it all to DVDs, but alas I got F'd in the A.

Sorry for the delay, still working on it. It's been a very hectic past couple of weeks, lots of overtime work among other things. But I haven't given up, I've started it.

Finally, I know.

Had some trouble hosting the image from a Mac again, it might look a little pixelated here. I'll post a better file to the designs page tomorrow night.
