Since I'm posting random work from my job, I'll throw this one on there. I'm currently working on a website for a car dealership, let me know what you think. Keep in mind, it's not finished yet. There are still some things I need to add to this home page.

I like the color combinations and the layout. One question about the two drop down menus. Are those for searching the inventory? It doesn't specify.

While I'm at it, could I pick your brain? I'm trying to learn more about web design, specifically database-driven websites and managing content. Did you study PHP? I'm wondering how to set up a site so that the customer can add content. Especially if the customer knows nothing about websites. Do you program it all yourself, or do you purchase/download a content management system? Got any good links you could point me to? On the Inwood website I would like to set up a system so that other people could add news & events to the site.

Thanks. Yes, the drop downs are for like a quick search for the inventory (instead of clicking the Search Inventory link).

I graduated with an internet programming degree, but I don't use it much. There are a bunch of CMS programs out there to control a site. I think most of these are free.

Probably don't need to know anything to install those CMS's. Maybe just how to create an initial database.

Login into your account and create a database, if you are using something like Plesk or such graphic interfaces you should see something like SQL or databases, create there a database and for other instructions read the READ ME that you get with the CMS.

I think the engine in lower right corner needs to go.....

OR clip the reflection of the of the jeep so its not fading in the blue area. Then I guess move the engine to the left slightly (not much) to give the text some breathing space.

i was gonna say clip off the reflection in the blue bit too, not sure what it is but the bg on the select box's is annoying me, looks too clean dunno wot exactly just doesn't feel right. maybe fade it out towards the right... dunno.

Yeah. I had the reflection of the SUV before I put in that engine, so now that I have the engine there, I can remove the reflection in the blue area. And move it around a little bit. Thanks.
