Anything, depends what you use it as... could be a "media station" or just for general stuff, dvds, stereo stuff, papers, magazines pretty much you name it..

how sell does it slide out on different surfaces? i can see it scratching the hell out of hardwoods and not really working on carpet.

I think it finds a market in modern living extremely well.


If the whole unit was stainless steel, I would buy it.

revoute, there are sliding caster sunken into the feet of the stainless steel peice, This makes it stand around 3mm from the floor, the main unit has 6 oak feet which make it stand an equal 3mm from the floor. This creates a nice shadow gap and makes the unit appear to be a lot lighter and less dominating.

Thanks for the other comments guys, Unfortunatly stainless steel is waaaay to expensive to get fabricated for a concept (1 off) so I had to use mild steel and get it nickel plated.
