This is definitely hard to pull off because of how accurate you need to be. You did a pretty good job, there are some noticable soft edges towards the fingers but it can't be easy blending it together.

Eeeew. Cool idea, you need to work on the retouch though

It needs shadows under the fingers and the masking along the thumb is too soft and it also need shadows there as well
