I just installed a MOD that will display the word "Today At" instead of the actual date if the last post was submitted on todays date. It will also display "Yesterday At" instead of the actual date of yesterday. Sounds confusing but it really is not, to see what I mean just go to the forum index and check the 'Last Post' column, you will see Today/Yesterday for some of the dates.

No biggy but just wanted to know if anyone is experiencing any problems with the forums now because of it.

bah thats been in IPB for years now :P. i personally chose to switch to that method instead of displaying the full date so its a good idea and can make it less confusing too.

Yep, it's not coming to phpBB as a standard out of the box feature until phpBB 3.0 which is due to release in who knows how long, it's already been like 3 years in the making.

That's the downfall of opensource software. Since the developers of phpBB don't get paid to program it, they take their time. IPB and vBulletin are always been updated and it's due to the fact the people are getting paid, it's their job.

By the time phpBB 3.0 is released, it will just catch up to where vBulletin was about 1 year ago.

On the forum index? Or view topic? Take a screen shot of the forum index for me if it's still not showing.

You may be referring to the dates in the actual thread, which still are the full dates, this MOD didn't cover those ones, but I can look into trying to change them as well.
