You know, I've always been interested in that. I will look for a MOD that would return an RSS feed.

Okay, I got it installed now. Gives out an RSS feed and Atom feed. Should I put a RSS button somewhere, or do you just use Firefox? When I installed this MOD, I realized that each blog on AI has their own RSS feed.

Because if you use Firefox you can just see in the bottom-right corner it has a 'live bookmark' button and you can click on that button and choose either RSS or Atom. Then in your bookmarks it should display the last 15 posts.

Is that a good enough description? Maybe someone could make a small tutuorial. Because, I don't really know anything about RSS Aggregators.

I added an 'RSS' section to the Home portal page. This allows you to link directly to the rss.php file.

Basically, it's display headlines or in this case, recent posts, that you can have set up to show on your desktop or whatever. It's like a 'live bookmark', where it updates when someone posts. So you could see the last 15 posts without having to go to the site technically.

It really comes handy when you have a few different sites you frequent, if they have a rss feed, you can get their feed along with all the other sites, right on your desktop with an app. I think Longhorn has a RSS reader built into the Side Bar, so you can just be on your desktop and see when a new post comes in.

seems that it needs a bit of working on.

When the RSS refreshes it marks all threads as read, so i now don't really know what is new and what is old :|

Huh, that's a bit strange. I don't really know enough about RSS feeds to really change that, but what RSS Reader are you using? I biefly checked it out with a SourceForge freeware app and it seemed to work fine. I had mine set to auto - refresh after like 10 minutes. Again, it was working pretty good for me. Sorry for the mess up,

I suppose you can still see the thread title and who posted it without having to enter the forums. ;)
