Yeah, it does look pixelated. I do like the splatter with the birds. But what did you use from his image?

The tiger. I manipulated it quite a bit. It is in the lower right corner.

The tiger - kind of resembles bones to me - not sure if you were going for that. I like it though! Will return asap.

Wasn't going for bones, but now that you mention it... I was actually trying to make it look like it was stenciled in. The composition is about the contrasts between the tiger & birds, predator & prey, perpetrator & victim, prisoner & freedom.

Well, I wasn't planning on getting done today, but I figured since you're snowed in awhile, I'd get V3 done to give you something to play around with.

I like how there's some actual depth behind the statue, so it gives the impression that jesus is actually standing behind it in the piece as opposed to being pasted. Also nice idea with the pigeon fading from black to reality.

over it's nice. ^_^

Wow, that was a long delay. I like the drips coming down from the angels wing, very cool effect. You do a good job of layering textures. Solid volley from you, good work!

Thanks emo. Yeah, I know it took a while. Been very busy with overtime at work and I have two kids so I don't get a whole lot of spare time on the computer. Plus I've been slowly working on a website design at home too. It might take me longer, but I'll get my volleys up. Critiques are welcome.

Yes - us old men + being dads keeps us a bit busy. Slowly but surely we find time, aye Mike?

Like the overall design and the incorporation of blue and really like the mid - below part of the angel work.

Got an idea that popped in my head - not sure if I'll go with it or not - will brain storm awhile and get to work.

I usually try sketching a few comps first, but this one I decided to just go off top of my head and dig in and this is what came out - figured better than waiting 3-4 weeks:) For those of you that can't view images from image shack hosting - sorry.

least you guys got what sound like good reasons for taking ages :D
I have battles that I haven't finished in 5 years because after a while it seems silly to go reviving them!

I've started the next volley, but just had so many other things going on. I'll get to it eventually. I'm leaving for vacation in a few days so I'll get to it when I get back. Sorry, paying gigs come first.
